Daily Temple Open & Close Hours
Under standard schedules, the Khatu Shyam Ji Mandir is open for darshan during the following hours:
- Winters (October to March): 5:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Summers (April to September): 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Note: On Shukla Paksha Ekadashi (Gyaras) and during the annual Phalgun Mela, the temple remains open continuously for 24 hours to accommodate the massive rush of pilgrims.
Five Daily Aarti Schedule
The deity is worshipped with five elaborate aartis daily, which are beautiful spectacles to witness. Here is the general schedule:

Best Days & Months to Visit Khatu Dham
For a peaceful and comfortable darshan, plan your trip during weekdays (Tuesday to Thursday). Weekends, Shukla Paksha Ekadashi, and Dwadashi see extremely long queues where queue wait times can extend from 2 to 6 hours. The best weather conditions are during the winter months from November to February.
